The Interactive Gaming Society (IGS) is a society of gamers just like you! We'd really like you to join. It's free, and we offer a variety of services for gamers. Here are some of the advantages of the IGS:
• Fellowship of gamers -- Our goal is to unite gamers under one representative organization, to encourage communication and friendly competition, and to represent the interests of gamers.
• Fight for our rights -- There is an organization to represent game companies, but there has never been a comprehensive organization to represent the gamers themselves. The IGS fills this void. We are here to stand up for gamers' rights, opinions, and desires when they come under fire.
• Useful gaming services -- We have a biweekly email moderated discussion list (the Interactive Gaming Digest), a WebRing of gaming sites, a comprehensive ranking system (so you can officially prove how good you are), a library of documents over various gaming subjects, an extensive base of knowledgeable gamers who can assist you, and much more is being added regularly.
• Local chapters -- They bring you closer to your fellow gamers where you live, and provide structure for the IGS as well. You're sure to make new friends, and have a blast getting together for gaming parties and meetings!
